A Dude I know just bullt a working Short Wave 5 Watt Ham Radio for his EE class last semester. He got his FCC License as well. We now have some time to talk and listen to people around the world. My set is an old Heath kit with tubes. His is all IC Circuits. My Dad was an EE PE.

So you want to transfer to earn an EE degree from what? I have lots of dudes I know that earned Engineering degrees and most are doing quite well. The only caution I have is that it will turn you into a lab rat and a nerd. You will not have a very active social life, because of your studies, labs and projects. Plus you really have to have an active imagination to deal with all of math equations. Always remember that a circuit only has 3 basic components to it: Voltage, capacitance and resistance
